In-Line Centrifugal Fans
Caldwell's exclusive In-Line Centrifugal Fans offer a compact design. A specially engineered air baffle is built into every In-Line Centrifugal Fan to ensure proper air flow and to maximize air performance.
For medium static pressure applications, these fans operate at 3450 rpm. These fans are available in sizes ranging from 14” to 28” and with horsepower from 1 to 15.
Available in single or three-phase units, these fans can be used in most general storage applications.
Product Features
- All fans are constructed of heavy gauge galvanized material providing extra housing strength. Factory installed motor controls are mounted in a heavy duty, weather tight, control enclosure.
- All units are 100% factory tested under simulated field conditions to assure trouble free operation.
- Protective polyvinyl coated safety screen guard that meets OSHA standards.
- All fan wheels feature non-overloading horsepower characteristics. Backward curved airfoil shaped blades are standard.
- Two year standard limited warranty covering all elements of the product. (See Warranty Policy)
- Single phase motors are the permanent split capacitor type design, they run cooler, draw less amps, are more dependable, and have less field problems.
- The baffles are placed in the orifice in order to maximize the volume and direction of air around the orifice opening.
- The air straighteners direct the air after coming off a 90 degree turn from the airfoil wheel.
- The in-line centrifugal fan runs much quieter than the axial fan, is available in standard axial fan diameters, and utilizes less space than a centrifugal fan.
Product Applications
- In-line centrifugal fans should be applied to push aeration systems.
- In-line centrifugal fans should be considered when sizing fans at higher static pressures. The fan should be selected to operate at optimum efficiency. Optimum efficiency is considered midrange of the published fan performance.
- Do Not Apply In-Line Centrifugal Fans to operate in negative (pull) type situations. Improper application could void current Caldwell Standard Product Warranty.
